The Food Chainby *Simanion

Yes. At long last. The idea is that the creature on the bottom is using all the other creatures who are stored within eachother to get the butterfly-esque insects at the top. So even though it has no arms, no legs and is basically an almost-inanimate blob, it has its ways...

The medium is watercolours on watercolour paper, size A4.

This was quite an epic undertaking, even if it may not entirely show. I had to get this out of my system before I started anything else. I really pushed myself trying to make everything as perfect as I could, attempting fresh patterns and unconventional colour mixes etc. I pretty much did one small section a day, so that I would return with a completely new state of mind for the next bit. I really hope you like it!
