This is the work i submitted for my year 12 Visual Arts HSC. It took many torturous hours to complete and i did feel clinically insane at times during it's conception/creation. It pretty much acts as a 'collage' of random things, essentially made up of objects, logos, symbols, and mostly nonsensical cartoony creatures.

The inspiration for the look of many of the creatures was insomnia. The longer i stay awake when im really tired the funnier things get, especially stupid and normally unfunny things.

It doesn't translate as effectively in pixelated form as some of the detail might be kinda hard to see here, but i have more 'close-up' photos. The title is a quote taken from a Seinfeld episode, in reference to the "bottling up" of emotions/thoughts and the eventual inevitable explosion.

Every picture fits exactly into place like a puzzle or a inside a really tight jar of...something, so i figured out - just now - that this must be the "bottle". Heres a link to a slightly smaller version, might hurt your eyes less or something..[link]

I just have to say... Wow.

There's no way in hell I'd be able to fill up a page as large as that, let alone keep the motivation to do so!

Simanion, how big is it? I mean, did you draw on for example 36" x 24" or is it drawn on a smaller canvas?

That title is familiar... serenity now... insanity later... Ah; Seinfeld. I don't suppose the kids of today would know much about that. Hell I'm not even sure you got the idea from that. Nevertheless, great picture (or pictures) and keep up the good work.

Sincerely and with my Deepest Respects,
-The Guilty Bystander
