Just some playing around with oils again :) No plan with this one, I just started putting colours together but trying not to mix them, just have them sitting next to eachother in their "tube" form

Then I added the turnip-esque thing and thought "hmm..I actually can't remember the last time I ate turnip, or in fact what turnip even tastes like. Is it like radish? Are turnips and radishes the exact same thing?! ...Rhubarb is a highly comical word. I appreciate it. I wonder if.." and so on.

I want to work more with cutting out different textured papers and making them into things! Craft, here I come. lol.

**Edit: Oooh I forgot to mention that the paper was handmade by my aunt, she gave me a whole bunch of awesomely textured handmade paper recently, some made out of different things like hay and with flowers and things in them

Thankyou! Yeah I still have a huge stack of different types.. I have a slight urge to make them into planes and throw them of a building, but I must restrain myself.

cudos to your aunt, the paper is gorgeous!!! I really need to go buy some handmade or other interesting papers from the local arts store..my friend bought some that was made 100% from elephant dung, isn't that amazing? it didn't even smell bad.
I like your concept here, as amazing as oils are for blending, people miss out on the other things they can do to! interesting texture/shading in the background too!
I have no clue if turnips and radishes are the same thing, I'll check.
well, from the looks of google image, radishes are red and turnips are purple. they're both pretty tasty but its easy to get sick of them. At the school i go to, theres this amazing little vegetarian place that always serves casseroles with radishes and turnips in it.

radishes? i forgot what they taste like...but beets, Mmmm. It does look like a beet too. I wish my garden would sprout rainbow beets. Maybe they would taste like a fruit medley. Mmm and rhubarb is a strawberry disguised as celery...I'm hungry.

Beets are cool sometimes. I never used to have them, only in burgers, but I've gotten used to them now haha. mmmm..I will buy some rhubarb on my next outing, and reveal its true identity to the world.
