Description
This is my contribution to a DA Community Project put on by kizioko (see here: [link])
The requirements were to represent some kind of emotion and somehow incorporate ghosts. Take part in it! it was pretty fun for me to do this because its not like stuff i normally do ie. it involved drawing people..which ive never been good at.
The emotion represented i suppose is kind of hard to explain succinctly but obviously sadness is the basic one. What i tried to show was that this girl had died (as a teenager) and is still lingering around in limbo, wanting to come back to 'our' side. Her spirit form becomes more physical as she approaches our side, but she will never make it across. Her tears (which fall progressively down her face as she gets closer) were used to show how distressed she is on the inside, as her mouth is more understated sorrow.
Im not that happy with the title, as it kind of sounds like she's demanding assertively to be let in, which isnt really what i was trying to do. She's more pleading and although not giving up she has kind of lost hope. I was thinking jokingly of calling it "Crossing Over," and i would have if that show didnt exist..stupid John Edwards.

This is probably the only quarter decent human ive drawn before. I drew the girl in pencil and scanned her, doing most of the work in PS. I didnt have a clue what i would end up with and was just experimenting really. So yeah..something kind of different.

moi a la vue de cette image je la revirerais de face et étalerais les masque cote a cote comme un jeu de carte et y déposerais des émotion différent et par la suis de différente facette pour ensuite changer comme de multiple personnaliste.
