Greens and purples, I can't get enough of them.

I did this as one of two quick entries into a mass group show where each artwork was for sale at the bargain price of $50. It sold...I'm slightly sad, lol. I hope they give him a nice home.

Still finding new techniques with watercolours, they're so interesting. The "glowy" highlight bits were done by painting it in regularly, waiting for it to half-dry, then dabbing the parts I wanted to be highlights with water on a brush. Then I'd wait for that to soak in, and finally press the whole area with a tissue really hard and really quickly. It leaves a cool effect..I used it a lot in this piece, haha.
